Where do I pick up and return the rental motorcycle near Split?
Where do I pick up and return the rental motorcycle near Split?
You normally pick up and return your rental motorcycle at the MotoGS Rental Croatia main handover location in Seget Donji near Trogir, close to Split Airport. This is the preferred starting point for riders who want to begin a motorcycle tour from the Split and Trogir area into Croatia, the Adriatic region, the Balkans, and Southern Europe.
For most riders, flying into Split Airport is the easiest and most practical option. Split Airport is located near Trogir, and the transfer to our main rental handover location in Seget Donji is usually straightforward by taxi, Uber, bus, or pre-arranged transport.
MotoGS Rental Croatia also has dedicated Meet & Greet / delivery locations:
- MotoGS Rental Croatia - Meet&Greet Split Airport (Delivery Location)
- MotoGS Rental Croatia - Meet&Greet Caffe bar BMW (Delivery Location)
These locations may be used by prior arrangement, depending on timing, availability, rental schedule, and operational capacity. The standard and preferred handover location remains MotoGS Rental Croatia - Seget Donji, Trogir.
If your international flight arrives in Zagreb, please plan an onward connection flight to Split. Our normal motorcycle pickup and return area is near Split Airport, Trogir, and Split, so starting the rental from the Split area is usually the most practical and cost-effective option. Long-distance motorcycle delivery to Zagreb is not part of the standard rental service.
At pickup, we complete the motorcycle handover, check the required documents, confirm the rental deposit and credit card reservation, inspect the motorcycle together, explain the luggage system and included motorcycle equipment, and adjust practical details such as seat height where possible.
If you arrive with a suitcase or larger travel bag, you can usually repack your riding essentials into the motorcycle luggage and leave your larger luggage safely with MotoGS during the rental period. This is especially useful if you start your ride directly after arriving at Split Airport.
At return, the motorcycle, luggage, equipment, fuel level, and any visible damage are checked together. You can also collect any stored luggage at this point. Please plan your return time realistically, especially if you have a same-day flight from Split Airport.
Before your rental starts, please share your arrival time, flight details, hotel location if relevant, and planned return time. This helps us prepare the handover properly and keep your motorcycle pickup and return as smooth as possible.
