Tour Info

At the end of each day, the tour data (gpx) will take you to the center of the respective city or town that was the day's destination. And directly into a parking lot. From there you can easily search for and find nearby accommodation. However, it is always advisable to find accommodation in advance so that you are not unpleasantly surprised.

The demanding tour first takes you south, to Omiš. Always along the Jadranska magistrala (D8). Rest assured, you will love the route. When you arrive in Omiš, your path takes you further, high into the mountains. You will experience a fantastic view of the Adriatic before you head back down the valley to the legendary D8. On the way to Dubrovnik you will not cross Bosnia and Herzegovina, but you will use the new bridge, the Peljesac Bridge. Although it is only 2.4 kilometers long, the Pelješac Bridge in southern Croatia is an extraordinary structure. The connection between the Croatian mainland and the Pelješac peninsula is part of an unusual bypass road. No city or mountain is bypassed here, but rather an entire country: Bosnia and Herzegovina. Specifically, the bridge connects the town of Komarna on the mainland with the Pelješac peninsula near Brijesta. This avoids the coastal strip, which is only a few kilometers long and is part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

You will arrive in the center of Dubrovnik, near the old town, in a parking lot, from where you can easily look for a hotel. In any case, we advise you to spend a whole day, i.e. the whole next day. Don’t miss out on exploring Dubrovnik’s Old Town. The history of this ancient city, founded in the 7th century, is worth it and the old town with its winding alleys and sights is a must-visit. Great restaurants and bars welcome you.

The journey continues towards Montenegro to the Bay of Kotor. This trip is divided into 2 parts. The first part takes you to a ferry on the Bay of Kotor. You will also book this ferry on site and cross over to the other side in order to continue with the second part of your day trip to the city of Kotor itself. Another short detour to the mountain on the other side via the Kotor serpentines to enjoy the dream view of the Bay of Kotor.
You should definitely stay here for a while and enjoy what you see.
The final destination of the day is Žabljak, located directly at Durmitor National Park. Before that, a short stopover at the Tara Bridge. This bridge is a must see. Because this bridge spans the second largest canyon in the world. Has an amazing history and is definitely worth a visit. Here, too, at the end of the day the route takes you to the center of the small town in northern Montenegro, where you will then find your accommodation.

The next day you will ride through Durmitor National Park towards Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Enjoy the ride through the national park and never forget to make enough stops to take your souvenir pictures.
When you arrive in Mostar, look for somewhere to stay overnight and don't forget to visit the Old Bridge of Mostar.

Your tour is coming to an end. You are on your way back to our Meet & Greet Location in Trogir. On the way there you will also bypass Buško Lake. Be inspired by what you will see and experience along the way. There are no limits to your desire to tour and explore.

If you followed the route details exactly, then you will have covered around 995 kilometers. Of course, you can always deviate from the suggested route; in the end, the navigation data will always lead you back to the route.
